Disconnecting the hydraulic line from clutch slave cylinder involves placing a special tool against the shoulder of the quick-connect fitting, pushing in on the quick connect and pulling out on the line. Take out transmission Remove two retaining bolts for clutch slave cylinder Slide off input shaft of transaxle Ensure that it rotates freely by rotating it and exerting pressure; if there is roughness or noise then replace it. It can be taken out from its clutch slave cylinder When removing the transmission, examine friction disc and pressure plate assembly Replace as needed Clean transmission input shaft with a light coat of high temperature grease Place new one into position, fasten with retention bolts until torqued Fill up reservoir with recommended fluid Connect hydraulic line to clutch slave cylinder Refill clutch fluid reservoir, using recommended fluid Bleeding clutch hydraulic system.
