Chevrolet Trailblazer Ignition Coil

Basically, the Chevrolet Trailblazer Ignition Coil is one of the most important parts that contributes greatly to the ignition of a car. It connects the primary to the secondary circuit, in which it steps up the low voltage received from the battery to a high voltage required to ignite the air/fuel mixture in the cylinders. As a general rule, the setup includes two single layers of electric copper wire insulated and forming the primary and the secondary coils in a housing containing the iron core. Depending on the sort of the ignition system, the coil will employ terminals on the housing or will be soldered directly to every spark plug in the COP arrangements. The ignition coil can fail and create a no-start condition or contribute to rough idle, poor power, and economy. Having the ignition coil of Chevrolet Trailblazer checked and maintained as often as possible will help in its proper working.

Each OEM Chevrolet Trailblazer Ignition Coil we offer is competitively priced and comes with the assurance of the manufacturer's warranty for the part. Furthermore, we guarantee the speedy delivery of your orders right to your doorstep. Our hassle-free return policy is also in place for your peace of mind.

Chevrolet Trailblazer Ignition Coil Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to remove and install ignition coils in Chevrolet Trailblazer?
A: For six-cylinder models,Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. Remove the air intake duct and resonator from the throttle body. Disconnect the electrical connector from the ignition coil (Disengage the connector lock then unplug the electrical connector). Remove the ignition coil mounting bolt and remove the assembly from the valve cover (remove the ignition coil mounting bolt then pull the coil from the valve cover). Check the seals on the coils for cracks or other signs of damage, replacing them as necessary (Install new seal(s) on the ignition coil(s) if they are damaged or hardened). Installation is otherwise the reverse of removal. Tighten the mounting bolt to the specific torque. V8 MODELS: Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. The ignition coils may be removed from each cylinder bank as a complete assembly or removed from the mounting bracket individually. If removing the complete assembly, disconnect the ignition coil main electrical connector. Disconnect the spark plug wires from the spark plugs. Remove the ignition coil bracket mounting nuts/bolts and remove the assembly from the engine. If removing the individual coil, disconnect the spark plug wire from the coil. Remove the ignition coil mounting screws and remove the ignition coil from the bracket (Remove the ignition coil mounting screws). Installation is the reverse of removal.
