Finally, disengage the regulator from the window glass sash and lift it from the door. To install the new regulator, place it in position in the door and engage the guide channel assemblies. Secure it to the door using 3/16-inch rivets and a rivet tool. Plug in the electrical connector (if applicable) and install the door trim panel. Finally, reconnect the negative battery cable.
