How do you raise the rear of a Chevrolet C1500 and K1500 and remove the spring assembly and Spring Shackle?

To remove the leaf spring, raise the vehicle's rear, support on jack stands, and block front wheels. Use a floor jack to slightly lift the axle, relieving spring tension and remove U-bolt nuts, washers, anchor plates, U-bolts, and spacer. Detach the shackle and spring from the brackets. Remove the spring assembly. The installation is the reverse of the removal.
