Start by disconnecting the negative cable from the battery to remove the accumulator. Disconnect also the inlet and outlet lines of the accumulator and cap or plug them right away. Lastly unbolt and remove the accumulator assembly. While installing, examine how much oil is in the old one so as to add this quantity with that required for fresh refrigerant oil into a new one. Securely fasten it using mounting bolts in place. Then connect back-inlet and outlet lines using clean refrigerant oil on new 0-rings. After all, attach the negative terminal's wire to the battery's negative terminal and evacuate and refill system at a professional service center or shop.
