How do you remove the steering wheel on Chevrolet Impala?

Park the vehicle straight and disconnect the battery. Disable the airbag system and remove the airbag module using a thin tool. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the module. Detach the clockspring wire harness and disconnect the steering wheel switches connector. Note the steering wheel hub and shaft position.
