How do you replace the latch and hood release cable on Chevrolet Impala?

To replace the latch, first, discharge the bolts holding the radiator cover plate allowing it to be removed. Mark around the latch while indenting it so that it can easily fit the positions when reinstalling it, then remove the latch retaining bolts from the radiator support as well as the latch. Subsequently, you have to let go of the hook of the hood release cable that corresponds to the latch assembly. For the cable, cut off from the latch assembly and then fit a wire of stiffness to the end of the cable and give path back to the firewall and then remove all of the retaining clips.
