Chevrolet HHR Headlight

The Headlight of Chevrolet HHR vehicles is a basic component insofar as it provides light on the road for driving at night and so that the vehicle is illuminated in the face of inclement weather. HHR has several post-market headlights are available and HHR from Chevrolet and each of them has its own pros and cons, they may use halogen, LED, or xenon lights. Halogen headlights are by far the most used because they are cheap, but they have very low durability in comparison with LEDs and Xenons. LED headlights are used in new models because they are economical on energy and also have a long span of brightness. This is true of the xenon type of headlights, which produce bright white or bluish light, due to use of xenon gas instead of a filament. Chevrolet HHR owners can effortlessly retrofit these headlights and switch on the road appearance and safety in a blink of an eye.

Each OEM Chevrolet HHR Headlight we offer is competitively priced and comes with the assurance of the manufacturer's warranty for the part. Furthermore, we guarantee the speedy delivery of your orders right to your doorstep. Our hassle-free return policy is also in place for your peace of mind.

Chevrolet HHR Headlight Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How do you adjustment the headlight on a Chevrolet Cobalt,HHR and Saturn ION?
A: The adjustment procedure for headlights on Cobalt/GS and ION models involves locating the vertical adjustment screws behind each headlight housing, while on HHR models, the vertical adjustment screw is found under the inner fender flange. There are no horizontal adjustment screws. To adjust the headlights, one method involves using masking tape, a blank wall, and a level floor. The tape is positioned vertically on the wall in reference to the vehicle centerline and the centerlines of both headlights, and a horizontal tape line is positioned in reference to the centerline of all the headlights. The vehicle should be parked 25 feet from the wall, sitting level, with the gas tank half-full and no heavy load in the vehicle. Starting with the low beam adjustment, the high intensity zone should be positioned two inches below the horizontal line, and adjustment is made by turning the adjusting screw. With the high beams on, the high intensity zone should be vertically centered with the exact center just below the horizontal line. It is important to note that it may not be possible to position the headlight aim exactly for both high and low beams, and if a compromise must be made, prioritizing the proper aim of the low beams is recommended for safety. It is advised to have the headlights adjusted by a dealer service department or service station as soon as possible.
  • Q: How do you remove the left headlight housing on Chevrolet Cobalt,HHR and Saturn ION?
A: To take out the headlight housing on a Cobalt, first pull out the bumper cover pushpin located near the headlight's inner part. Next, get rid of two bolts holding the headlight housing. Pull forward the headlight housing and then unplug all electrical connectors. On ION models, remove two pins retaining the headlight housing and then disconnect electrical connectors. For HHR models, take off front bumper cover as well as other bolts that keep the headlight housing in place. Continue to lower down until its locking tabs at back are free of those resistance points. Next pull it forward until all locking pins come out and you can detach bulb wires from their connectors. In all cases, installing is opposite of removal. Last of all do remember to adjust your headlights when finished with them.
