How do you remove and install the TR switch on Chevrolet Cobalt,HHR and Saturn ION?

To remove the Automatic Transmission Shift Position Sensor Switch, set the parking brake and shift lever to neutral. Disconnect the shift control cable and electrical connector from the Automatic Transmission Shift Position Sensor Switch. Remove the switch lever and nut. Then, remove the mounting bolts and switch. To install, ensure the shift lever is in neutral. Align the notches on the shift shaft and Automatic Transmission Shift Position Sensor Switch. Loosely install the mounting bolts and use an alignment tool to rotate the switch into place. Tighten the bolts to specified torque. Reverse the removal process, tightening the lever nut with pliers.
