    A: For models from 1969 to 1970, ensure the wiper motor is in the 'Park' position, then disconnect the wiring and washer hoses from the motor. Remove the plastic access cover and loosen the nut retaining the crank arm to the motor assembly. Next, take out the three motor mounting screws and withdraw the motor. For models from 1971 to 1980, raise the hood and remove the cowl screen. Reach through the opening to loosen the drive link-to-crank arm nuts, then remove the transmission drive link from the motor crank arm. Disconnect the wiring and washer hoses from the wiper motor, remove the three motor mounting screws, and withdraw the motor while guiding the crank arm through the hole in the rear firewall. Installation is the reverse of removal, ensuring the motor is in 'Park' before connecting the drive link.
