How do you replace the driveaxle oil seal on Chevrolet Corvette?

Jack up the car and secure it on jack stands placing the transmission in Neutral and turning the parking brake off. Fix the front wheels to avoid the rolling of the car. Take out the driveaxle(s) and using a seal removal tool or a large screwdriver gently push out the wheel seal being very careful not to damage the seal bore. The new wheel seal should be fitted on using the seal installer / a large deep socket as a drift and should be properly located in the bore. Ensure that the lip of the new seal is smeared with multi purpose grease. Replace the rear drive axel(s) being careful not to scratch the new lip seal. Last, observe and confirm the level of differential lubricant and put some if there is a need to replenish the level to the right levels.
