This procedure has to be done on both front and rear shims of the wheel studs. Start with the removing of the wheel lug nuts, lifting of the car and placing it on jackstands before you proceed to remove the wheel. Third, then, take off the brake disc. Those are: With the help of a small press tool, it is possible to push out the stud in the hub flange. Slide the new stud from the rear into the hub flange, add a few flat washers and a lug nut on the stud. Make a final turn on the flange until the stud is well tightened to the lug nut. Last but not the least, replace the disc and caliper, fit the wheel and the nut, and lower the car, also tighten the nuts to the recommended torque.
