How to remove and install the actuator in a Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon?

Securely raise the front of the vehicle and support it using jack stands. The splash shield is taken off. Pull out the electrical connector from the actuator. Separate actuator mounting bolts and disengage actuator from intermediate shaft housing. To fix an actuator, apply reverse removal procedure. Torque down bolts to specs as indicated above.
