    A: Open the trunk lid/liftgate. Remove the pushpins securing the trunk lid liner, or remove the liftgate trim panel. Disconnect the electrical connector from the Trunk Latch assembly and the rod to the Trunk Lock Cylinder, if equipped. Remove the bolts securing the latch to the lid or liftgate. Remove the Trunk Latch assembly. Installation is the reverse of removal. Remove the pushpins securing the trunk lid liner. Disconnect the Trunk Lock Cylinder actuating rod. Remove the Trunk Lock Cylinder retaining clip. Remove the Trunk Lock Cylinder from the trunk lid. Installation is the reverse of removal.
