Chevrolet Camaro Blower Motor Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How do I remove and install a blower motor control module and blower motor assembly?
A: Remove the glove box and disconnect the electrical connectors from the blower motor control module. Unplug the module connectors, remove the mounting screws, and take out the control module. If the original blower motor is still in place, a service kit from a dealer service department is needed. Remove the airbag trim cover fasteners, cover panel, right floor duct fastener, and duct. Take off the blower motor cover screws, unclip the wiring harness, and remove the cover. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connector. The blower motor housing must be cut out to remove the blower motor assembly. Sand the edges smooth on the housing and case. Install a blower motor service ring or kit, tighten the fasteners, and reverse the removal process for installation.
