Then, take off the rear brake calipers and discs. Slide the parking brake shoe assembly straight down to remove it. For installation, lubricate the shoe guide pads with high-temperature grease and install the new shoe assembly. Repeat these steps for the other side. After that, install the brake discs and calipers. Finally, put the rear wheels back on, remove the jackstands, and lower the vehicle. Make sure to tighten the wheel lug nuts to the proper torque specifications.
