Disconnect both fuel tank retaining straps by removing the fuel tank strap retaining bolts. Lower the tank enough to disconnect the wires and ground strap from the fuel pump/fuel gauge sending unit, if not already done. Remove the tank from the vehicle. Installation is the reverse of removal.
