How do you remove and install exterior mirrors on Chevrolet Astro?

For 1995 and earlier models, the work starts with the removal of the door trim panel and the water shield at the back side of the mirror area. Gently push and unlock the top right corner of the trim panel that which conceals the exterior mirror mounting nuts and fold it downwards till it comes off. If they are powered up, remove the electrical connector of the mirrors. Subsequently, unscrew the nuts or the screws if they are applied in order to completely pull off the mirror. The installation process is done in the reverse sequence to the removal process.
