- Q: How do you replace the antenna on Cadillac Fleetwood?A: To replace the antenna on 1990-93 Deville and Fleetwood models, first connect the negative battery cable, turn the keys to the position where the horn sounds , pull back the trunk liner and open the trunk. Take off the antenna upper nut and bezel and and take the tablet out the antenna bracket bolts. Pull off the wiring connector from the relay, unscrew the antenna cable and take out the antenna assembly as well. To perform installation of this device, locate the antenna assembly and connect the antenna cable; install the antenna bracket bolts, the antenna bezel and the upper nut last. Screw on the wiring connector to the relay, rearrange the trunk liner and connect the negative terminal of the battery. For other models, and for 1994-98 Deville, starting procedure is the same, but in addition one should disconnect the negative battery cable and open the trunk to remove the right-hand sound insulating panel. Unplug the antenna cable and wiring connector from relay and if any remove the ground strap of body from relay.
