How do you service the regulator motor and regulator assembly on Cadillac CTS?

To service the regulator motor, one has to dismantle the door trim panel as described below, If possible enter the car and open the window slightly, and then remove the electrical plug from the regulator motor. If more security is needed for the window, tape over the positioned window, followed by the removing of the three screws for the motor and withdrawing the motor, with the process of putting in the motor the reverse of the mentioned procedure. To access the regulator assembly, therefore, pull out the door trim panel, the water shield, and the window glass. Lower the window regulator mechanism until it is three quarter down, slide off the mounting bolts for the regulator assembly, snap off the electric connetcion, then retreat the regulator. Like removal, installation begins at the end and proceeds back toward the head.
